Abstract
Allergen Accreditation has launched the 2025 Resource Pack as part of the Food Allergy Aware Month, #allerjanuary 2025 campaign.
Accredited businesses are reporting that it is now not unusual to be met with an ingredient query outside of the top 14 and they have adapted to treat these ingredients in much the same way.
An Allergen Accreditation spokesperson said: “January represents a great time of the year to renew, refresh and reinvigorate all allergen training, systems, procedures, and communication methods with consumers.
“This year’s Resource Pack takes us all back to basics, looks at pea protein and a spotlight on coffee shops who are exploring alternatives to milk and special diet catering. Useful links and campaigns are included for all catering business’ information and use.”
