The seafood university course aims to educate chefs, school cooks and development chefs about fish from Alaska, including wild salmon, wild Alaska pollock, yellowfin sole, king crab and weathervane scallops.
The online course is free to access for all chefs and can be completed in their own time. Upon successful completion participants will be awarded a certificate of achievement, which can be placed on their CVs.
Culinary schools are invited to use the seafood university as course material, forming the study basis for a lesson. Promotional materials are available for display and further course materials are available if required.
Participants will have the opportunity to win prizes for completing the course, and culinary schools will be incentivised to use the course in their teaching.
