Abstract
Eight members of school contract caterer, Alliance in Partnership (AIP) took part in the Prudential RideLondon – Surrey last weekend (29 July) – raising £5,000 for mental health charity MIND.

Despite the gloomy weather, the AIP team joined 22,000 riders in completing the sixth annual 100-mile challenge.

Raising money for the charity MIND, which works to “make sure no one has to face a mental health problem alone”, the eight members included:

  • Managing director Paul Rogers
  • Cherie-Anne Hart, business director
  • Amy Teichman, quality and nutrition manager and her husand
  • Adam Starbuck, AiP financial analysis
  • Development chefs Jean Marc Bernard and Stuart Brown
  • Nia Roberts, daughter of business director, Jenny Roberts

Rogers, AIP managing director, commented: “After weeks of glorious sunshine, to be riding 100 miles in the wind and rain was a real challenge for all of us, but we did it.

“We are all delighted to have achieved our personal goals and raised so much money for MIND, the charity that supports people with mental health problems – an illness that can touch any of us at any time.”
