Education catering specialist, AiP Group, has been awarded accreditation from Safecontractor for its commitment to achieving excellence in health and safety.
Paul Rogers, AiP Group managing director. said: “Safecontractor accreditation demonstrates AiP’s commitment to safety throughout its business and it is a way that we can demonstrate to our customers that we have sound health and safety policies in place.
"This is particular important for a business like ours where our employees work within our customers’ school premises.”
Under the Safecontractor scheme, businesses undergo a vetting process which examines health and safety procedures and their track record for safe practise.
AiP operates more than 285 school catering contracts throughout the UK.
Safecontractor is a third party accreditation scheme, which recognises high standards in health and safety management amongst UK contractors.
