In partnership with school meals provider Entrust, Aimia Foods' launched a 'write a slogan' competition to raise awareness of the importance of healthy eating and to inject a fun atmosphere into the Dining Room environment.
Posters were positioned around the schools' canteens, with entries submitted at the till points on payment with personalised entry forms.
The competition received over 300 entries from eager pupils who all wanted the chance to win one of two Kindle Fire HDXs. The winning slogans 'You can't spell ama-Zing without Zing!' from a pupil at Fair Oak Academy and 'It's fiz-Zing-ly fruity!' from a pupil at Abbot Beyne School, both based in Staffordshire.
Zing's formulation combines a minimum of 70% fruit juice and sparkling water to deliver three flavours: apple, berry and tropical.
Karen Green, brand manager for Zing at Aimia Foods, said: "With so many changes happening in the school canteen from September, it's important to keep pupils engaged with school meals by introducing fun activities that keep lunch and break times enjoyable.
"It was great to have the opportunity to work with Entrust and its schools on this promotion and we look forward to partnering with them again soon to support future campaigns and pupil development."
