Abstract
The Association of Catering Excellence (ACE) has announced plans to host their second International Women’s Day celebration lunch, which is taking place on Wednesday 8th March 2023.

The event will bring everyone together for a lunch packed full of inspiration, networking and celebration for IWD 2023. This International Women’s Day event is sponsored by HIT Training.

After the success of last year’s lunch, the female influencers are invited to bring with them one of their younger aspiring female team members to join them in the celebration.

Lunch will be hosted by Pip Lacey at hicce in Coal Drops yard, who has created a menu largely focused on cooking ingredients in a wood-fire oven. Having only spent just over ten years working in the industry, Pip has demonstrated that with enough ambition and determination, it’s possible to become a top chef regardless of your age or prior experience.

ACE has invited Kate Nicholls OBE and Jill Whittaker OBE to share their motivating career stories. ACE will also be supporting The PM Trust and raising vital funds for their cause.

Chair of ACE Sarah Prentice commented: “This celebration is something I am extremely passionate about as it’s vital we recognise the huge contribution these female leaders and the support they give to other aspiring females within their organisation.

“ACE has always been at the forefront of promoting women in hospitality as we have been steered by some fantastic female chairs in recent years including Jeni Edwards, Gaye Bullard and Sue Thompson. We can’t wait to celebrate together in March.”
