The teams will need to cook two main course dishes (two portions of each) one for tasting and one for presenting. The Team fee will be £380+VAT, which is the same as when ACE last held the competition in 2019.
A spokesperson for ACE said: “As this is a highly anticipated and popular event, entries will be on a first come first serve basis and the companies should be ACE members. Six teams will compete at one time over two stages. The teams will comprise of two chefs per company of any age, gender or level in the kitchen.
“The style of cooking this year has taken a completely new angle to bring the style of the competition up to date with the current food scene in the UK. We are also mindful of reducing food waste as much as we can as these types of competitions are typically very wasteful.”
Bookings are also now open to watch the event and support your teams. Ticket price £68+VAT for members, £88+VAT for non-members (to include supper and a drink). To book email Louise@acegb.org.
