The event raised over £15,000 for the industry charity and included a four course meal.
Penny Moore, chief executive of Hospitality Action, said: “We are so very grateful to each of our festive chefs for taking part in this very special dinner in our honour. Over £15,000 was raised which is truly phenomenal and will enable us to support even more people in need over the festive season.”
Lending support throughout the evening was Brasserie Joël’s Head Chef Walter Ishizuka. The evening comprised of a delicious four course meal including the iconic Meat Fruit starter by Ashley Palmer-Watts and a delicious dessert of exotic fruit raviole, kaffir lime and coconut jus prepared by Raymond Blanc OBE.
The evening was supported by Wenlock Spring, Cobra Beer, Oranka, Bunzl, Pauls, Classic Fine Foods and Repertoire Culinaire whilst prize donors, including Condé Nast Johansens who contributed a fantastic £500 worth of gift vouchers, helped ensure the evening’s fundraising success.
With Christmas just around the corner, the charity is holding its annual Christmas online auction. With a multitude of lots on offer including a three course lunch at the River Cafe in London, an overnight stay at The Hoxton in Amsterdam and a selection of festive hampers and Champagne supporters are sure to find a unique Christmas gift for friends and family.
