The events caterer has also provided its services for hundreds more external gatherings across the north east, including Sounds of the Summer events with food and music at National Glass Centre, Sunderland.
The team also marked the start of a new season providing hospitality at the Stadium of Light, home of Premier League side Sunderland AFC.
In the last few months 1879 Events Management, which launched in 2012, has also managed its first offsite wedding and catered for tens of thousands of music fans at leading LGBT festival, Newcastle Pride, for the third consecutive year.
Now, in an effort to continue its success, the organisation has announced a number of new events running into the autumn, starting with Bourbon and Blues at National Glass Centre on Friday, September 25th.
The team are also expected to run a full programme of activities at both The Beach House bistro and the Stadium of Light, including an evening with SAFC legends, Alex Rae and Kevin Ball, on October 8th.
Gary Hutchinson, Commercial Director at 1879 Events Management, said: “It’s been a hugely successful summer for the company, allowing us to expand our creativity and experiment with new ideas for our in-house events.
“We’ve also made great strides in our offsite catering operations during the last few months, including managing our first external wedding, and look forward to more in the near future.”
