The company provided a range of hospitality packages, as well as public bars and food outlets for thousands of visitors.
Gary Hutchinson, director, said: “This is a massive operation for us because the Sunderland International Airshow is such a well-established event which always attracts huge crowds.
“It’s also a great undertaking for us logistically, setting up kitchens across a number of sites with different offerings in each location.
“We have had fantastic feedback from the guests who had nothing but praise for the food and service, which is a great testimony to the hard work of the entire team.”
The team at 1879 Events Management ran two hospitality offerings at Cliffe Park, which included the Lancaster Lounge for those who had opted for a gold package and the Black Cats Lounge for platinum customers.
The week before 1879 provided all of the catering at Newcastle Pride, which welcomed more than 70,000 people.
