Abstract
For one night only TV Chef Chris Coubrough will cook alongside students of The Hotel School to offer a mouth-watering menu of locally sourced products and fine dining at the Debut Restaurant.
Chris Coubrough - who is the star of ITV's Coastal Kitchens and owner of The Crown Hotel, Wells Next the Sea and The Crown Inn, East Rudham - and The Hotel School at City College Norwich, join an array of businesses that are to form a programme of events during the Bidwells Norwich & Norfolk Food Festival. After holding a master class at the School, where he will pass down his trade secrets, Chris will work alongside the students to put on a delectable three course menu at the School's Debut Restaurant, which will be open to the public to enjoy for just £19.95. Steve Thorpe, Head of The Hotel School and a Master Chef of Great Britain, said: "It is a pleasure to have Chris on board and a unique opportunity for the students to work with another experienced Chef, who they admire and can learn new skills from. "We are putting a real emphasis on locally sourced products and healthy eating to create a fine dining experience that will run alongside the values of the Norfolk & Norwich Food Festival." The event will take place on Thursday 9th October. Bookings can be made by contacting 01603 773227.
