National independent contractor 7 Day Catering has announced six new appointments to its team – only weeks after unveiling the expansion of its sales team.
Henry Watts, managing director at 7 Day Catering says: "We are delighted to be putting additional resources into the sales and operations teams to support our existing customers and drive new business. "This significant investment will enable us to be more proactive and visible in the way we manage and develop our customer relationships – better identifying their needs, understanding their business, providing an enhanced customer service and delivering tailor-made solutions." Two new sales managers, Dale Spiers and Chantelle O'Carroll have joined to cover the Midlands and North of England, while the business development team has been boosted with the recruitment of Jane Chapman Andrea Thornley – both from Autograph, the B&I arm of Initial Catering. And to reinforce the support provided to clients the company has appointed two new operations managers - Mark Hawkins from Redcliffe Catering and Andrew MacPherson from OCS Catering. Tamworth-based 7 Day Catering was founded in 1997 and now has 1,100 staff serving 150 clients throughout the UK in the B&I and higher education sectors.
