Princess Royal opens skills centre at Deeside College

Abstract
The Princess Royal visited Deeside College to officially open a new skills centre where Sodexo will be providing a number of catering and cleaning services.
During her visit she took a tour around the new Construction Skills Centre where Sodexo was providing services for the 2,000 students including catering, cleaning, hospitality. Sodexo staff was also managing the bar, two off-site internet cafes and formal functions and dinners. Sodexo, the leading food and facilities management company, provided a buffet for Her Royal Highness, as well as preparing the food for other attendees on the day. The new Construction Skills Centre enables students to learn about new construction technique and renewable energy technologies such as solar powered energy. Students will also develop their basic and key skills, whilst working on construction focused topics. Sue Radin, Sodexo's general services manager at Deeside College, said: "Sodexo has been providing food and facilities management services for Deeside College for almost ten years.
