Abstract
Registration for the official National Doughnut Week (20-28th May 2023) is now open with the money raised via the sales of doughnuts at bakeries, cafés and other small businesses going directly to The Children’s Trust.

The deadline for businesses to take part is Thursday 18th May. Sign up is really easy and it’s free by visiting https://nationaldoughnutweek.org/ to complete the simple form. All the money raised throughout the week via sales of doughnuts in bakeries, cafés, bistros, delis and lots of other small businesses goes directly to The Children’s Trust.

The charity delivers rehabilitation, education and community services through skilled teams who work with children and young people and their families. Every year 40,000 children in the UK are left with a brain injury as a result of an accident or illness.

Miriam Bernhart, marketing director of Bread & Pastry Solutions at CSM Ingredients, said: “The last chance to sign up for National Doughnut Week is fast approaching and we are encouraging bakers to sign up to receive their branded POS kit.

“We know that bakers have had a busy calendar with lots of national events taking place. National Doughnut Week is a great opportunity to showcase popular doughnut ranges, create new ones and raise money for an important charity.”
