Marketing your products abroad just got easier

Abstract
A new international consulting network, The Green Seed Group has opened its doors for business this month to help food and drink manufacturers around the world develop overseas trade.
Founded from the now defunct Food from Britain international network, Green Seed offers a wide range of services to businesses irrespective of country of origin, who wish to market their products outside their home territory. Chairman, David Wilson explained more: "Forming The Green Seed Group is a natural progression since FFB closed its doors earlier this year. The knowledge and experience built up by the international office network since its inception in 1991 is not only unique but also invaluable. Each has an in-depth insight into the food and drink market in their own country and established relationships with leading retailers, wholesale s and foodservice operators. "However, as well as harnessing this experience, we are also broadening our reach to offer a fluid global network of opportunities for food and drink businesses. This will mean that instead of just working with UK exporters, we will partner with companies located anywhere in the world, looking to develop business in any one of the 19 territories covered by our network of offices." Each office offers a wide range of services for companies looking to target new territories, from market assessment and strategic planning, through to assistance with packaging, marketing, and on the ground support to help to develop buyer relationships, select distributors or other local partners. "The launch of Green Seed is a very exciting evolution," adds Wilson. "The internationality and flexibility of the group has opened up a wealth of opportunity that was not previously accessible under the FFB flag. Although British food and drink businesses will remain a key focus for us, we are looking forward to working with large and medium sized food and drink companies from around the world who simply have a common aim – to develop business outside their home markets."
