Abstract
Last night saw the annual awards from the Local Authority Caterer's Association take place at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole and the list of winners is below:
LACA Catering Management Team of the Year Award Catering Direct Management, Rhonda Cynon Taf CBC LACA Specialist Catering Team of the Year Award Yeoman Park School, Nottinghamshire CC LACA Primary School Catering Team of the Year Award Dickleburgh School, Norfolk County Services LACA Secondary School Catering Team of the Year Award Alderman Smith School, Warwickshire CC LACA Education Catering Marketing Award Winner: North Lincolnshire Council Runner Up: Nottingham CC Highly Commended: Metrofresh The Nan Berger Memorial Award Kirklees Catering Service, Kirklees Council Roger Davis Outstanding Achievement Award Nigel Argyle LACA Outstanding Supplier of the Year Award The UK Foodhall Chairman's Award The strength of LACA lies within the Membership and the Regions. In 2008 the National Chair of LACA has chosen to recognise members who have contributed over a number of years to regional activity as well in some instances to the national scene.
