HRH Countess of Wessex to appear at chefs' awards

The Craft Guild of Chefs has announced that Her Royal Highness The Countess of Wessex will be attending this year's annual awards ceremony.
The royal show of support will add even more prestige to the event. Nominees for this year's awards include KNORR National Chef of the Year, Simon Hulstone, Helene Darroze at The Connaught, London W1 and Adam Smith from the Ritz Hotel. Taking place on Monday 1st June, this year's awards will be held at the London Hilton on Park Lane. Now in their 16th year, the Craft Guild of Chefs Awards have become the chefs' 'Oscars', and the coveted accolades recognise and reward the leading talent working in kitchens all across the industry. More than 600 guests are expected to attend, who will witness a group of extraordinary chefs - nominated by their peers and judged by the Craft Guild of Chefs - receive awards for their outstanding work across 14 different categories.
