Hovis named number one bread for 2007

Hovis' new Seed Sensations range has been awarded 'Launch of the Year' in this year's Grocer's Top Products round up.
Seed Sensations, which launched in July this year, gained a 12.4% value market share of the seeded sector, now worth an estimated £150 million. The range is available in two different combinations – 'Rich & Roasted' for a fuller seeded flavour and 'Light & Nutty' for a milder taste. Marie Davies, Hovis Seed Sensations Group Brand Manager, said: "We aim to build on the brands success in 2008 and will continue to invest in the products development and markets to make it even better for the discerning consumer in 2008." Hovis invested over £2 million on the launch.
