Heather Lishman of Hospitality Assured said: “This year’s well-deserved winners and finalists should be very proud as they are a real acknowledgement of some exceptional successes.

“We were excited and proud to celebrate with such outstanding businesses and congratulate them all on their achievements - you could see the Hospitality Assured values shining through from all of our nominees and winners.

“Hospitality Assured spends a great deal of our time meeting with and assessing premises not just here in the UK, but around the world. The winners embraced a passion and commitment to excellence that stood them apart, and I would like to congratulate them all on their fantastic achievements.”

Director of facilities at St Monica Trust, Ian Joyner, added: “The Trust has strong desire to achieve high levels of excellence along with a commitment to creating an outstanding customer service experience for our residents.

“The framework provided by the Hospitality Assured process has proved invaluable in helping us become a leader in customer service within the UK Healthcare sector, and we are honoured to receive the 20th Anniversary Award.

“This outstanding success has been achieved by the hard work that individual colleagues and teams put in on a daily basis, and we will work hard to continually improve the experience of everyone who comes into contact with the Trust.”

Robin Dutton, director of quality systems at University College Birmingham (UCB), said: “UCB has been a supporter of Hospitality Assured since first achieving (the award) in 2000, and we welcome the opportunity it provides to benchmark business performance and service satisfaction with other organisations.

“On behalf of the university, I am delighted to receive the award for ‘most improved score’ (having achieved over 82% in its most recent reassessment.)”
