Running from Thursday 11 – Friday 12 April at the Celtic Manor, Jones will speak on the Thursday, presenting ways to reduce food waste in hospitals and the cost savings to the NHS, which can be used for other initiatives before facilitating a panel discussion with ‘key’ NHS stakeholders.
Jones will join Judyth Jenkins Lead Dietitian at Cardiff Vale UHB and Rebecca Alyward, Chief Nurse at Cardiff Vale UHB who will update delegates on the continuing work at Cardiff Vale UHB.
And new for 2019 will be ‘meet the buyer sessions’. Delegates arriving on Wednesday will be invited to join the exhibitors in one-to-one meet the buyer sessions between 4pm and 6pm on Wednesday afternoon.
A maximum of 6 appointments with ‘key’ suppliers to hospital catering will be set and in return delegates who take part will be given additional drinks vouchers for the Wednesday evening informal dinner.
