Abstract
The East of England Development Agency (EEDA) is supporting a project along with Tastes of Anglia to raise the profile of the eastern region and help more food and drink reach London.
The first step in the scheme is a 'meet the buyer' event with one of the established wholesale markets, London International, which is based near Heathrow.
London International's business development manager will be visiting the region early this month and is keen to hear from fresh produce businesses that have large quantities to supply who would like to meet with him.
The product wish list contains: asparagus, brassicas, chillies, edible glasshouse produce, field grown lettuce, herbs, onions, potatoes, runner beans, soft fruit and speciality mushrooms.
