Abstract
Nestle Professional has unveiled the five teams going through to the grand finals of the Nestle Toque d'Or student catering competition.
The lucky five are Carlisle College, North Warwickshire and Hinckly College, North Devon College, Glasgow Metropolitan College and South Kent College. The finals will be held in June.
Martin Lines, marketing director of Nestle Profeesional, commented: "All five teams really brought innovative menus to life through inspirational teamwork, preparation and seamless delivery.
"From first-time entrant South Kent to established teams – each stood out in terms of their professionalism and skill. They brought through incredible flavours, under the remit of healthy menus and demonstrated real partnership both front and back of house."
The finalists will be tasked with serving 100 diners at their unique 'place to eat' in June.
