Abstract
Two Michelin-starred chef Daniel Clifford, chef patron of Midsummer House in Cambridge, has confirmed five Michelin-starred chefs to host a gastronomic extravaganza in aid of Children In Need.
For a week in November each chef will design a five-course tasting menu for five nights bringing their culinary styles to Midsummer House. Each menu will be accompanied by a flight of wines to match each course and cost £130 per head with £40 per ticket going to Children In Need. Clifford explained why the chefs were so keen to get involved: "All the chefs taking part have families and agreed to do this without hesitation. Children In Need is a great cause and as fathers we wanted to do our bit to help. Plus, it's a great opportunity for people to sample five great chefs' food in one place." The chefs and dates are: Tuesday 17th November - Claude Bosi - Hibiscus, London Wednesday 18th November – Paul Cunningham – The Paul, Copenhagen Thursday 19th November – Glyn Purnell – Purnell's, Birmingham Friday 20th November – Daniel Clifford and Adam Simmonds – Midsummer House, Cambridge, Danesfield House Hotel, Marlow Saturday 21st November – Tom Kerridge - Hand & Flowers, Marlow Table bookings will be from 7-9.30pm and there is a maximum booking of tables of six.
