Abstract
Catering equipment supplier Pro Foodservice Reps (PFR) has relocated its headquarters to Rolleston Lodge Business Centre in Billesdon (Leicestershire).

The new headquarters is the third move for the company in three years.

It includes space for warehousing, offices and a meeting room and is expected to create new jobs in the region.

PFR managing director Andy Piggin was quoted by the Businessdesk as saying: “We spotted the opportunity to establish a different model to the existing manufacturer-importer-distributor-customer route.

“We operate as the manufacturers’ representatives, outsourcing the sales role for the factories, giving them a route to market without us buying the stock. When we approached manufacturers, six of the first seven we asked said yes. It keeps the market price of the product down and also keeps factory overheads under control.

“We currently represent ten manufacturers and are approached weekly by more. None of our brands compete and have similar customer bases, which mean we can knock on one customer’s door with several relevant product ranges to offer.”

Established in Leicestershire, PFR represents foodservice equipment manufacturers in the UK and works with operators, chefs, design consultants and equipment distributors.

The company offers a wide range of heavy and light equipment including foodwarmer and lighting products, commercial kitchen equipment, induction hobs and wood and gas fired ovens from various brands.
