Cravendale official milk sponsor of Caffe Culture

23rd Apr 2009 - 00:00
Abstract
Cravendale has announced that it is the official milk sponsor of Caffe Culture 2009 which is being hosted at London's Olympia on 20 and 21 May.
While offering all exhibitors the opportunity to use Cravendale milk for free, attendees are also invited to visit stand B32 to see the benefits Cravendale offers baristas first hand, through regular latte art demonstrations by our Cravendale barista. In addition, trained baristas will have the chance to roll up their sleeves and experience the difference in foaming Cravendale milk for themselves. Cravendale has supported baristas and the café industry for a number of years including the UK Barista Championships for the past four years as well as the 2008 UK Latte Art Championships. In addition Cravendale has supported the sector by conducting in-depth research into the factors affecting milk and the way it foams. The scientific study, undertaken in conjunction with respected barista trainer, Paul Miekle-Janney of Coffee Community, was designed to help café owners understand more about the way milk foams and more importantly, why sometimes it doesn't. Sophia Harris, Cravendale's customer activation manager, commented: "With Britain's café culture continuously on the rise, milk is becoming an increasingly important ingredient for coffee shop owners. Cravendale has long been a favourite with baristas due to its attractive sheen and delicious mouth feel, its ability to foam consistently throughout the year and of course its extended shelf life which limits wastage. "Cravendale is keen to continue building the relationship between the brand and the barista community and wants to ensure the finest ingredients and up to date research are always readily available for them to pass on to their customers."
