Abstract
The Covent Garden Real Food Market is making its long awaited return this year, featuring delights from some of the UK's finest food producers.
Every Thursday, starting from today (16 April) until September 24th, fresh produce will be available from the market. Food producers showcasing their produce include SJ Frederick & Sons' free range Label Anglais chickens, Neal's Yard Dairy cheeses, The Spore Boys' famous mushroom sandwiches, The Garlic Farm, and the Arabica Food & Spice Company. The market will also provide food lovers with a programme of unique stalls and entertainment throughout the season. Other highlights include guest stalls from the Urban Wine Company and local micro-breweries, along with live demonstrations from carbon-free chefs and urban farmers. Ros Barclay of Covent Garden London commented: "Now in its third year, The Covent Garden Real Food Market has proved to be really popular with Londoners and visitors to the area and so for this reason, we have brought the market back for an extended period throughout the summer. "We are delighted with the wide selection of quality food and entertainment on offer. From Spore Boys' mushroom sandwiches to Forman and Son's smoked fish, you are guaranteed to experience something unique at Covent Garden." The Covent Garden Real Food Market will be open from 12.00pm-7:30pm.
