Coffeee.net launches to support hospitality businesses

3rd Mar 2011 - 00:00
Abstract
A coffee wholesaler has launched a new website as it bids to increase its share of the hospitality sector.
Coffeee.net, which was designed by north west digital agency Brash, sells a range of ground, instant and raw bean coffee directly to business and private customers and it already includes a number of hotel and restaurant businesses among its clients. The business, which also retails tea, hot chocolate, coffee making equipment and accessories from its distribution centre in Horwich, has identified the hospitality sector as an area of "significant growth" over the next two years and aims to create up to 15 new jobs in the process. Matt Newing, chief executive of Coffeee.net, says: "We have made encouraging inroads into the hospitality sector with a 24% increase in year-on-year sales and we hope the new web site will be the final piece of the jigsaw. "There is a large demand for bedroom sticks, sachets and milk pots, while we also supply some clients with raw beans and filter coffee machines, often at very short notice. "We hope to see further significant growth in the sector going forward as occupancy levels edge upwards and operators look for one single coffee and tea supplier to cater for their needs."
