Abstract
Contractor Charlton House has gained a contract with the Department for International Development (DFID) to manage catering at the firm's two sites in East Killbride, Glasgow, and in Palace Street, London.
The three-year contract is worth an annual turnover of £370,000.
A team of Charlton House staff now provides a breakfast lunch service for 1,000 DFID employees at the London site, and a further 600 at the East Kilbride property.
Robyn Jones (pictured), chief executive and co-founder of Charlton House, said: "Our experience of managing prestigious and complex Government contracts, such as Her Majesty's Treasury, has helped us to gain this contract."
DFID is responsible for leading the British Government's fight against world poverty.
