Catermasters cooks carbon free

14th May 2008 - 00:00
Abstract
Catermasters, the Leamington-based provider of contract catering services, has officially become carbon neutral.
Its headquarters has just achieved the environmental standard and work is already well underway for the rest of the business to follow suit. Catermasters provides catering solutions for companies that include Costain, Oxford University Press, and Williams F1. But to taking the environmental commitment a stage further, Catermasters recently underwent an assessment by carbon management company, CO2Balance, to quantify the size of its carbon footprint as a complete business. Nigel Johnson, joint Managing Director of Catermasters, said: "We give our clients top-quality food made from fresh, wholesome ingredients. We depend on the land to give us the food we prepare, so it's important that we look after it.
