Johnathan brings over ten years of experience in the hospitality industry, where he most recently worked as regional sales director for Bunzl Lockhart where he oversaw a ‘significant’ period of growth post Covid. He has also held positions at Nisbets, Parsley in Thyme and Heritage Silverware, as well as running his own sales agency for artisan drinks brands.
Pere Taberner, sales vice president for West Europe and Africa, said: “Jonathan will bring a breadth of experience to Welbilt having managed both sales teams and key accounts at top sales and distribution organisations.
“Jonathan has significant knowledge of developing customer needs in multiproduct organisations and this, along with his passion and understanding of both the equipment and foodservice industry, will make him a true asset to Welbilt. I would like to welcome him wholeheartedly to the team and look forward to working with him on some exciting projects.”
As part of the new structure, Steve Hemsil will be leaving Welbilt.
Johnathan added: “Welbilt has some fantastic brands which I already know well such as Merrychef, Convotherm and Frymaster, as well as newer brands which I am looking forward to developing including WMaxx, Crystal Tips and Olis. Welbilt has a growing multiproduct proposition which can only be a benefit for both current and potential customers.”
