Abstract
To celebrate the upcoming British Food Fortnight (20th September-6th October 2024), foodservice wholesaler Brakes is searching for six ‘innovative’ recipes to feature in their 2024 Brakes British Food Recipe Book.
British Food Fortnight celebrates the best of British cuisine across the public sector in schools, hospitals, care homes and universities. The campaign also encourages people to seek out British food and drink when they are shopping or eating out.
A spokesperson for Brakes said: “Simply create a tasty dish using British ingredients, fill in the entry form and we will choose six winners.
“The six winning recipes will feature in our online recipe book and will win £50 each as Brakes credit. We will choose an overall winner who’s dish will be showcased at our Foodie Expo in Hertfordshire in September as we celebrate British Food Fortnight.”
