Nutrition & Hydration Week 2016 aims to break world record
13/01/2016 - 10:01
Nutrition & Hydration Week 2016, which takes place from March 14th, is encouraging caterers and professionals in health and social care to help break a world record.

Currently, the world record for the most afternoon teas served in one place is 569 and 667 across a multi-site.

The criteria is to provide afternoon tea to as many people as possible – this is a cream tea that provides a drink, preferably hot, a scone, jam and cream.

Quantum Care in the UK has already registered to beat the multi-site afternoon tea World Record. They will attempt to set a new world record by serving afternoon teas across their portfolio and beyond.

People can find out more information on how to apply here where the week’s organisers have put together a step by step how to guide to complete the necessary registration for the world record attempt.

The organisers of the week itself have also set themselves a challenge of trying to create a new official world record for multinational world record - cream teas served in five or more countries for the same event on the same day.
