Abstract
Contract caterer Elior has partnered with chef Ivor Peters – known as the ‘Urban Rajah’ – to launch a ‘diverse’ breakfast range inspired by India’s industrious and rural cities.

The new BREAKfeast range includes a number of dishes high in antioxidants, flavour and spices, including spiced protein pots, omelettes, bhajis, porridge, naan rolls and chutneys.

It follows increasing consumer demand for menu diversification and draws inspiration from the industrious cities of India, rural heartlands, mountainous living and coastal harvesting.

Rajah explained: “Every morning we wake up, we’re given the chance to do something better, tastier and more inspiring than the day before.

“Packed with exciting flavours and nourishing ingredients, the BREAKfeast menu grabs the day by the collar and raises its game.

“Drawing upon the independent British spirit and dynamism of the Indian sub-continent, we’re re-defining breakfast with unique, nutritious dishes that allow our customers to ‘breakfast like a Rajah’.”

The menu comprises:

  • Bombastic eggs
  • Bhurji spiced scramble
  • Masala omelette
  • Rajah beans
  • Aloo Hash Bhaji
  • Porridge and fruit pots
  • Marari beach mango salad:
  • Naan rolls
  • Chutneys: brinjal (aubergine) jam, tamarind brown sauce, tomato and chilli jam
  • Drinks: fragrant spiced masala chai, ‘feeling peachy’ lassi with peaches, mint, vanilla, cinnamon and yoghurt
