Abstract
Foodservice supplier Brakes has launched two spicy tortillas as part of its sandwich bread and flatbread range, La Boulangerie.
- Beetroot and chia tortilla: fully baked wheat flour tortillas infused with beetroot and studded with chia seeds. This gives the 10-inch tortilla its pink colour.
- Turmeric Spiced Tortillas: fully baked wheat flour tortillas spiced with fenugreek, turmeric and cumin.
Best served hot or cold, they make for an ideal light lunch or snack and are sold in packs of 4 x 18 tortilla cases.
