Abstract
Young’s Foodservice has appointed two new business development managers to ‘further drive the growth of the company’s Foodservice Division within education’.

Martin Mosley and Chris Baker will bring a ‘wealth’ of experience to the company.

Foodservice director, Adrian Greaves, said: “I am delighted to have Martin Mosely and Chris Baker on board.

“I am confident that they will both play an important role in driving the company’s Foodservice Division, specifically within the education sector.

“As the largest seafood company within the UK, we are able to provide a full range of solutions developed specifically to meet the needs of the education sector and Chris and Martin are the perfect candidates to impart these benefits to our customers, to help achieve our overall business aims.”

Mosley has almost ten years’ experience working in foodservice, including positions at Bidfood and Aryzta Foodservice where he specialised in Healthcare and Education.

He said: “Being a passionate “foodie” I was pleased to learn of the opportunity which had arisen at Young’s.

“The opportunity to work for a market-leading brand, steeped in a rich history of innovation, high quality of service and a responsibility to the environment, was too good an opportunity to turn down.

“I now specialise in Education, focussing my efforts on Further and Higher Education, Contract Caterers and Local Education Authorities in London and the South of the UK.

“I manage the proposal process from start to finish, liaising with both the customers and their wholesalers to bring our proposition of high quality, affordable and sustainable seafood products to help feed the minds of the next generation.”

Baker also yields 35 years of experience in the foodservice market, covering various sectors but has specialised in the education sector for the past 20 years. He has returned to Young’s after 30 years away.

He added: “I am delighted to be returning to Young’s once again after 30 years and witnessing how much the business has grown and developed with our own factories and British made products.

“Young’s Foodservice is dedicated to developing new and innovative products that are loved by caterers and students alike.

“I’m excited to play a key role in this area of the business and be an advocate for the benefits I know the products provide because I understand the pressures, requirements and demands that school caterers face.”
