Vimto plans to double out of home sales by 2020
Abstract
Nichols Plc, supplier and distributor of dispense, packaged and frozen soft drinks to the out of home channel, has pledged to double its sales through out of home by 2020.

The growth plans along with a new company name and strapline (Vimto – Refreshing Soft Drinks Solutions) are in response to the continued rise in eating out occasions, which has had a knock on effect to the sales of soft drinks.

Nick Yates, trading director at Vimto Out of Home, said: “As the UK’s third biggest distributor of soft drinks, we’re setting our sights on ambitious growth over the next five years.

“We’re in fantastic shape as a business and our new identity will really help to communicate and position us as a true one stop, national, soft drinks solutions provider across dispense, packaged and frozen.”

Nichols Plc. has a total business revenue of £110million and employs 170 people across its Vimto UK, International and Out of Home divisions.
