Seasoned caters for St David’s Day celebration at Guildhall

London event caterer, Seasoned, exclusively catered for one of the ‘biggest and most prestigious’ St David’s Day celebrations at Guildhall in London.

This year’s St David’s Day dinner took place at the Great Hall on the evening of 4 March and was held in support of the Wales in London Philanthropic Fund, managed by Community Foundation in Wales.

 

Seasoned is an approved supplier at the venue and hosted over 300 guests with a sparkling wine reception, which was followed by a four course dinner featuring ‘authentic Welsh themes with innovative twists’.

 

Managing Partner at Seasoned, Colin Sayers, said” “We are proud to have hosted a special night in support of the Community Foundation in Wales who do an immense amount of important work with the young people. We used our culinary expertise to explore Welsh themed dishes and deliver an exciting menu for an inspirational organisation.

 

Dishes included Welsh saddleback pork trio, a wild mushroom with creamed leaks vegetarian option and apple and salted caramel ice cream with caramelised filo pastry and Penderyn whiskey foam for dessert.

 

The guest list included representatives from business, financial services, law, media, politics, music and sport. Special guests included the BBC News anchor Huw Edwards and radio presenter, Huw Stephens.

 

The event organiser, Gaenor Howells added: “It was a pleasure to work with the team at Seasoned whose support and professionalism throughout the planning stages and during the event itself was much appreciated.”
