17th Nov 2011 - 00:00
Abstract
Rectory Food Group (RFG), a supplier of quality poultry, red meat and food ingredients, has made an appointment to its foodservice division.
Andrew Stephens joins Rectory as director of foodservice. He will be responsible for expanding & developing Rectory's full fresh and frozen poultry offering, in particular, the Hot Chicken Company (HCC) brand, and all vegetable products. Stephens brings with him over 15 years' experience, holding previous roles at Delifrance, The Juice Company and Invicta Foods. His new role at Rectory will require him to develop the division, building on the foundations for growth already in place. Commenting on the role, Stephens said: "I'm very pleased to join Rectory Food Group. The opportunity to play such a diverse role was really one I couldn't turn down. "Rectory is a dynamic and forward-thinking company and has many divisions within it. It prides itself on selecting the best in class – and moves forward using the expertise of its employees. "I'm excited to bring my experience to the table and am confident that I have established a strong platform within the food sector to really make a difference. I look forward to renewing relationships with my food service contacts, but also embrace the opportunity to cast my net into as yet unchartered areas." Rectory Food Group's managing director, Charles Woolly added: "We're delighted to welcome Andrew to the role. It's been an exciting year for Rectory, with even more aspirations for the months and years ahead. "A high profile appointment like Andrew's is testament to the direction we are headed, and his experience and wealth of knowledge, invaluable to our success. Our position within the poultry industry has remained strong, allowing us to take the next step in expanding our portfolio to become a major force in the food industry."
