According to search data, quiche is the most popular savoury party food item followed by potato salad, cheese boards and sausage rolls.
According to Google Trends, online searches for ‘Christmas party food’ have soared 142% in the past month alone in the UK. To help Brits serve the best Christmas buffet, meal box delivery company HelloFresh has used search data to rank the most popular buffet food items to include in savoury festive spreads.
Quiche has been ranked as the UK’s favourite item, with an average online monthly search volume of over 40,500, followed by potato salad and cheese boards (both receiving 33,100 average monthly searches), as well as sausage rolls and scotch eggs (both receiving 27,100 average monthly searches).
Top party food items include:
