Key appointments for Sodexo at Royal Botanic Garden

Hospitality provider Sodexo has appointed a new head chef and recruitment and training executive at its client site, Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh (Scotland), to ‘bolster’ the team.

Leading the food and beverage team, Marco Nobrega joins the Gateway restaurant as head chef where he will draw upon his ‘comprehensive’ knowledge of the industry to influence the menu and introduce new concepts.

 

Nobrega most recently worked as head chef in the Bonham Hotel and has held positions in Madeira (Portugal), Corsica (France) and the Channel Islands.

 

Sara Gray also joins Botanic Garden as recruitment and training executive, as part of the venue’s “continued investment in its people to drive the success of the business on a day to day basis.”

 

She will look to improve the venue’s offering through the continued development of the team.

 

General manager for Sodexo at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, Fraser Sharp, commented: “We are delighted to welcome Marco and Sara to our team.
