Abstract
Hospitality Action is to host its annual ‘Back to the Floor 4’ gala dinner on 26 April at The Dorchester (London), with industry leaders (including Mandarin Oriental’s Amanda Hyndman) showcasing their silver service skills.

Once again organised by hoteliers Philip Newman-Hall and Danny Pecorelli, the 400-guest evening will be compered by Peter Hancock, Pride of Britain Hotels.

Over 70 ‘waiters’ will serve guests during the Champagne reception, including Zoe Jenkins (Coworth Park, Dorchester Collection); Sue Williams (Whatley Manor); Harry Murray (Lucknam Park); and Amanda Hyndman (Mandarin Oriental).

Manning the wine will be acting ‘sommeliers’ Simon Numphud (AA Hotel Services) and Julia Sibley (The Savoy Educational Trust).

Coworth Park general manager, Zoe Jenkins, said: “This event is always great fun as many of us taking part haven’t tested our waiting skills for a good number of years.

‘Everyone is very keen to smash the £100,000 fundraising target and hopefully we won’t smash too many plates along the way.”

Tickets are available now for £165 p.p. or £1,500 for a table of 10. Email fundraising@hospitalityaction.org.uk or visit www.hospitalityaction.org.uk/events for more information.
