Compass raises £37k for Alzheimer’s

Compass Group UK & Ireland’s healthcare division raised over £37,000 for Alzheimer’s Society UK this Christmas, as part of its annual 'Elf Week.'

With 200+ Compass retail sites having taken part, employees held a number of fundraising activities, demonstrating their “passion” in supporting the funding of on-going research projects for those living with dementia.

 

Including this year’s funds, Compass’ healthcare business has raised £317,072 for Alzheimer’s Society UK in the last three years.

 

Andrew Jones, Compass Group UK & Ireland’s healthcare retail business managing director, commented: “We are extremely proud to have raised such a staggering amount of money for Alzheimer’s Society UK.

 

“It demonstrates the hard work and passion of our teams - what more can you ask for.”

 

Healthcare Retail regional manager Simon Brown added: “Huge credit must go to the teams - their pride, passion and enthusiasm in helping in the fight against dementia is simply world class in performance.”
