Abstract
Facilities Management Catering (FMc), the specialist caterer for stadia and events within Compass Group UK & Ireland, has renewed a three-year contract at Chelsea FC, to July 2010.
The new contract is worth over £10 million in annual turnover.
FMc will be supplying the catering for almost 50 bars and kiosks around the 41,761 seated stadium.
Chris Morris, managing director of sport at Compass Group UK & Ireland, commented: "We are constantly striving to improve and innovate our offer at Chelsea FC. As a business, we keep abreast of industry and consumer trends, to ensure that we continue to meet demand for a number of dietary requirements, including healthier options and fair-trade products."
Morris continued: "We will continue working with the club to increase visitor numbers and enhance its profile as a premiership club, with a premier food offer."
