Abstract
Held at Manchester Central from June 30th to July 1st next week, one of the key themes of this year’s two-day Avex event is ‘future technology’ and organisers say the exhibition promises to showcase some of the most innovative vending machines the world has to offer.

Among the cutting edge technologies on view to visitors, Smart Vend Solutions will host the inaugural exhibit of the world-first facial recognition enabled Luce X2 Touch TV vending machine, which hit the headlines around the globe when it was launched earlier this year.

Visitors to Smart Vend Solution and Sanden Vendo’s stands will also witness the SandenVendo Juice Dispenser, which is free of tubes and pumps to avoid contamination and high running costs.

The revolutionary machine operates with an interactive glass front and uses state-of-the-art gesture recognition software based on camera sensors to accurately identify a user’s product choice, exclusively designed by IntuiSense for Sanden Vendo.

Smart Vend Solutions managing director managing director Malcolm Standage, said: “We’re certainly very excited about AVEX 2015.

“As an industry, it’s a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the outstanding and revolutionary advancement of the last few decades and especially in recent years.”
