Adam Thomason appointed executive head chef of Genuine Dining Co.

Adam Thomason has been appointed foodservice provider, Genuine Dining Co’s, executive chef, tasked with continuing the company’s work with local suppliers to create menus that will ‘excite’ its customer base.

Two-time runner up of the Craft Guild of Chefs’ National Chef of the Year competition, he has previously worked for Compass’ Restaurant Associates as executive head chef of Deloitte where he oversaw 30 chefs covering different departments, including fine dining.

Chris Mitchell, managing director of Group Genuine said: “We are delighted Adam is joining us. I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know him over the past couple of months, tasting his food and finding out what motivates him. He is a true ‘genuine foodie’ with a passion for developing others, values that run deep within the Genuine Dining Co and Group Genuine. Adam joins the company at a really exciting time and we’re looking forward to the journey ahead of us.”

Thomason, a holder of the Master of Culinary Arts added: “I am so excited to take on the role of executive head chef for Group Genuine. Their food ethos runs deep within their culture, and with a team of talented development chefs and genuine foodies, we can grow the and push innovations in the kitchen while working with as many British suppliers as possible.”
